Connect NowMetrix to Claude

Ask Claude about your live and historical NowMetrix data. The connection uses your NowMetrix login and does not require a REST API key.

Before you start

  • You need a NowMetrix account with access to at least one tracker.
  • Custom remote connectors are available on Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. The Free plan supports one custom connector.
  • Team and Enterprise workspaces require an Owner or Primary Owner to add the connector for the organization.
  • NowMetrix provides read-only tools. It cannot change your analytics or tracker configuration.

Add NowMetrix to an individual account

  1. Open Claude and go to Customize → Connectors.
  2. Select the + button, then Add custom connector.
  3. Enter NowMetrix as the connector name.
  4. Paste this remote MCP server URL:
https://dash.nowmetrix.com/mcp
  1. Leave the optional OAuth client ID and client secret in Advanced Settings empty. NowMetrix handles browser-based OAuth automatically.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Find NowMetrix in your connector list and select Connect.
  4. When the browser opens NowMetrix, sign in and approve read-only access.

Add NowMetrix to a Team or Enterprise workspace

An Owner or Primary Owner must add the connector first:

  1. Open Organization settings → Connectors.
  2. Select Add, then Custom and Web.
  3. Enter NowMetrix and https://dash.nowmetrix.com/mcp.
  4. Select Add.

Each member who needs access can then connect their own NowMetrix account:

  1. Open Customize → Connectors.
  2. Find NowMetrix and select Connect.
  3. Sign in to NowMetrix and approve read-only access.

Enable NowMetrix in a conversation

  1. Start a new Claude conversation.
  2. Select the + button at the lower left, open Connectors, and enable NowMetrix.
  3. Send Start NowMetrix as your first message.

NowMetrix checks your access, lists your available trackers, and suggests useful first questions. You can then ask, for example:

With NowMetrix, compare yesterday's pageviews and visits for example.com with the previous day, then show the five strongest articles.

Troubleshooting

Add custom connector is missingIn a Team or Enterprise workspace, ask an Owner or Primary Owner to add NowMetrix in Organization settings.
Authentication does not completeOpen the connector settings, disconnect NowMetrix, then select Connect again and finish the browser sign-in.
Claude does not use NowMetrixOpen the conversation's + menu, choose Connectors, and enable NowMetrix for that conversation.
A tracker is missingThe connector uses the same permissions as your NowMetrix account. Verify your tracker access in NowMetrix.
