Connect NowMetrix to Grok

Ask Grok about your live and historical NowMetrix data. The connection uses your NowMetrix login and does not require a REST API key.

Before you start

  • You need a NowMetrix account with access to at least one tracker.
  • Use Grok in your browser. Business and Enterprise teams also need the setup described below.
  • NowMetrix provides read-only tools. It cannot change your analytics or tracker configuration.

Add NowMetrix to an individual account

  1. Open grok.com/connectors and sign in to Grok.
  2. Select New Connector, then Custom.
  3. Enter NowMetrix as the connector name.
  4. Paste this remote MCP server URL:
https://dash.nowmetrix.com/mcp
  1. Follow the sign-in steps. When NowMetrix opens, sign in and approve read-only access. Return to Grok and wait for the available tools to appear.

Grok Business and Enterprise

A team administrator must make the connector available before members can connect their accounts.

  1. Open console.x.ai, select your team, then go to Grok Business → Connectors.
  2. Select + Add Connector, choose Other, and enter the same NowMetrix MCP URL shown above. Complete the authentication steps.

Team members can then open grok.com/connectors, choose NowMetrix, and connect their own NowMetrix accounts.

Start your first conversation

  1. Start a new Grok conversation.
  2. Send Start NowMetrix as your first message.

NowMetrix checks your access, lists your available trackers, and suggests useful first questions. You can then ask, for example:

Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to do
An administrator has disabled MCP access for your entire account.Ask a NowMetrix administrator to enable MCP for your account. Enable or disable MCP for the whole account
The custom connector option is missingIn a Business or Enterprise team, ask your team administrator to add the connector in the cloud console first.
Authentication does not completeReturn to the connector and complete the browser sign-in. If you cannot finish connecting, contact NowMetrix support.
A tracker is missingThe connector uses the same permissions as your NowMetrix account. Verify your tracker access in NowMetrix.
